We need transparent, fiscally conservative leaders that have the knowledge and enthusiasm to preserve and ensure a prosperous city for years to come.
I have been pleased to work with Council in the areas of promoting greater citizen interaction, lowering taxes, providing amenities for our residents through our parks master plan and ensuring that our economic impact remains vital.
As a mom, my most important job is to be a role model to my son, Brady. I want my family, as well as yours, to be proud to call Florence home.
I am proud of my record on lowering the cost of living for our citizens. The tax rate for real estate has decreased for both 2024 and 2025. This results in a 6% lower tax burden for our residents and businesses. In addition, insurance taxes have decreased by 20% in 2026.
This is accomplished through a review of the City's financial policies in the climate of continued economic growth in the community.
Under my leadership, a compreshensive review of our investment strategy allowed the city to modernize its approach to better align with market conditions providing for a strong financial outlook for our city.
Florence is recognized as a tremendous place to live, work and visit.
I will focus on programs that create an identity for the city as a destination of choice, while enhancing the resident’s quality of life.
The city will be viewed as a community partner that works collaboratively with other local government, business, and non-profit entities.
The city will attract people of all ages to the parks and recreation opportunities that are being provided through our comprehensive Parks Master Plan and the scheduled improvements.
